I’ve been a season passport holder for 6 years now. As of late it’s really gone down hill. They want you to pay extra for better parking, that’s not that great any how. They now have shows you have to pay for and fast passes. Where they send fast past straight through, I waited in a line for over an hour because of this. Unlike Disney land where they send a fast pass through then a non fast past, and alternate.
They also only let short children where costumes where a slightly taller first grader wouldn’t be allowed to. Because they might get confused for an actor. Are you kidding me.
I love Lagoon. Big, beautiful trees, fun rides for kids, toddlers, teens and adults. Pioneer Village is quiet and beautiful and you can see lots of historic buildings, museums, artifacts and more pertaining to Utah history. Reasonable pricing and good food. If you don't want to buy food there, just pack a cooler and bring your own! That's the best part about Lagoon. They have lots of pavilions where you can put your stuff and it will be safe there whole day. Gotta love Utah!
I have fond memories of visiting this place as a child. I recall riding the Terror Ride 300+ times (almost not an exaggeration) as a child and enjoying it every time. I'm more into the more exciting rides such as the Screamer or Colossus, so I make sure to ride them every time. It's a great place, but since it's full of roller coasters, it really isn't for those faint of heart, or with children inside them. Always a fun place to bring friends or a date.
Great park! Don't lose you keys on Cannibal like me. If you do you will have to make your brother drive over an hour each way to bring your spares. Be smart. Put them in the locker. Double check your pockets are empty before the ride. It turns out of you drop them when the track corkscrew for the second time they will fall into the upper level pool that they can only get to once a year to clean out as it is so hard to get to. Fun ride though. My six year old and I hit it at least 15 times this season.
Great place for some cheap fun! Lagoon keeps improving and adding/updating each year. The fun never ends! People of all ages can enjoy this place. The food options aren't the best, but they are decent. Other than the food, there isn't anything I can find wrong about Lagoon. Frightmares is also a lot of good, spooky fun! I recommend everyone in Utah tries this place out. You won't regret it!
And my child was told she can’t play in the water fountain because she was in shorts and a tank top.
